Wilson's Snipe and Leopard Frogs.....

Tom Heatley stopped by the house today and we went looking for Wilson's Snipe... The property behind my house is one of the best spots I know for Wilson's Snipe in the spring... We flushed 4 of them.... We also had 5 Green-winged Teal, 1 female Canvasback and a Swamp Sparrow...

Another highlight of the day was the 50+ Leopard Frogs that we saw... They were so active in the Ponds... so were the American Toads... Tom and I both were surprised at the amount of Amphibians that were out today.... I don't know what they are all gonna think if a snow storm hits in the next month... LOL!!       click to enlarge
