48 hr Birdathon Point Mouillee

This is the first year birding the Marsh at Pointe Mouillee SGA... Its an amazing place and its friggen huge... We had our Mountain Bikes and road about 12 miles as we covered 90 percent of the marsh... Highlights included Osprey, White Pelicans, Dunlin, Bald Eagle, Great Horned Owl, Virginia Rails, Black-crowned Night Herons, Common Morehen, Northern Harrier, multiple Marsh ducks and Teals, Pectoral Sandpiper, Caspian Terns and Bank Swallows...

It was a workout but worth it as our list grew over 100+ birds.  Next stop Oak Opening Preserve south of Toledo
