Field Sparrow
Took a run over to Wolcott Mills Metropark after work... I was hoping to find a Field Sparrow and an Eastern Meadowlark in the fields across from the entrance... looks like I was batting .500... I heard the Field Sparrow(104) right away and glassed him with my binoculars right in the entrance of the park about 50 yards from the gate... Same spot I always see them... Last year I photographed one in the same spot, almost same tree I saw this one in.... The Meadowlarks have not arrived, but I expect them any day now....
